Jan I. Button - Vice Chair, Board of Directors

As a retired Adult School Principal and Administrator, Mr. Button is aware of serving public interest and the time and financial constraints to do so effectively; therefore, Mr. Button is a continued supporter of B.R.I.D.G.E.S. through his active involvement on the Board.

Dan Hudec - Secretary

Mr. Hudec has a specialty in computer technology, operating and maintaining computer software and hardware. Mr. Hudec provides support to B.R.I.D.G.E.S. by active involvement with the Board of Directors.

Barry Braswell - Member

Mr. Braswell has been a continuous supporter of the Braswell family’s mission and dedication in providing quality treatment and services to persons with chronic mental illness continuously. This drive has led Mr. Braswell to his position as the Director of Vocational Rehabilitation at Vista Pacifica since 1988.

Benita DeFrank - Member

B.R.I.D.G.E.S.’ newest addition to the Board of Directors brings to B.R.I.D.G.E.S. a wealth of knowledge, community resources, and enthusiasm for success. Ms. DeFrank, Housing Manager for the City of Pomona has worked in the field of housing and human services for over 20 years. Her area of specialty is providing permanent supportive housing for persons with disabilities, in particular persons living with mental illness. Ms.DeFrank has been a committed community leader in the San Gabriel Valley area for about 20 years.

Carlese Waddy - Member

Ms. Waddy, a Registered Dietician worked as a consultant in psychiatric residential treatment facilities for the length of her career. Ms. Waddy, now retired, tirelessly supports B.R.I.D.G.E.S. by sharing her knowledge and expertise in Dietary Nutrition with staff and clients.

Mary Bryner - Member

Ms. Bryner has been a consistent member of the Board of Directors throughout the years. Ms. Byner brings a wealth of business management and administrative experience from her culmination of twenty-three years of professional endeavors. Eleven of her twenty-three years of experience were gained while in the capacity of Administrator for Psychiatric Residential Treatment. Though Ms. Bryner is presently retired she continues to dedicate time serving on the Board of Directors for B.R.I.D.G.E.S.
